Senior Software Engineer

The Role

Collaborate with team members to deliver business value through the development of clean and maintainable code. Take ownership of the quality of your work, including the development of unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the product, encompassing both business and technical aspects, to contribute effectively to its development. Actively participate in technical decision-making by presenting alternatives, sharing well-reasoned opinions, and contributing to informed choices. Conduct code reviews of fellow team members to maintain coding standards and quality. Provide coaching and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest programming trends and technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced agile development environment.

What we need

Senior experience with backend development in Java/Kotlin.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of OOP principles, clean & good code design.
Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices.
Knowledge of Messaging Queues (RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS, Kafka)
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB.
Familiar with testing best practices and JUnit, Wiremock.
